• User: Refers to any individual accessing or using the site.
• Site: Refers to www.internationalspaceolympiad.com, owned and operated by Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd., Kochi, Kerala, India.

2. Right to Modify

Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of the website or these terms without prior notice. Any such changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website.

3. Grand Prize Disclaimer: NASA Visit

The Grand Prize of the International Space Olympiad (ISO) is an educational visit to NASA awarded to the top winner in each category. However, the following conditions and disclaimers apply:

• Edu Mithra has no formal or informal affiliation with NASA or any U.S. government agency.
• The NASA visit is an independently organized educational tour and not conducted by or sponsored by NASA.
• Visa and Immigration Responsibility:
  • Participation in the NASA visit requires valid U.S. travel documents.
  • The approval or rejection of U.S. visas is solely at the discretion of the U.S. Embassy or Immigration Officer, and Edu Mithra cannot influence or guarantee visa approval.
  • All procedures related to U.S. visa applications, including biometric data collection and embassy interviews, are governed entirely by the relevant government agencies.

In Case of Visa Denial or Ineligibility:

• If the winner is unable to attend the NASA visit due to denial of visa, medical ineligibility, political restrictions, force majeure events, or any other reason beyond Edu Mithra’s control, the Grand Prize shall be substituted with a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 INR (One Lakh Rupees).
• The substituted cash prize is subject to deduction of:
  • Visa processing charges incurred by Edu Mithra on behalf of the winner, if any
  • Applicable TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per Indian tax laws
• The remaining balance (if any) will be transferred to the winner’s or parent/guardian’s bank account within 90 business days of confirmation of ineligibility or withdrawal.

Edu Mithra shall not be liable for any emotional distress, travel disruption, or financial claim due to visa denial or associated delays. The decision of Edu Mithra in all such matters shall be final and binding.

4. Copyright & Content Usage

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, software, original images, videos, graphics, and multimedia, is the intellectual property of Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd. and is protected under applicable Indian copyright laws.

• Reproduction, duplication, modification, or reuse of any material from this site without prior written consent from Edu Mithra is strictly prohibited.
• Unauthorized use of such materials may result in legal action, including civil and/or criminal penalties under Indian law.

Use of Open-Sourced Media:

• Some space-related images or media on this website are sourced from publicly available NASA archives, which are in the public domain and free to use under NASA’s media usage guidelines.
• All such images are used in good faith, for educational and informational purposes only, and where applicable, credits to NASA are duly acknowledged.

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. All legal disputes arising out of the use of this website shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ernakulam, Kerala, India.

9. Cancellation & Return Policy

• Registrations made for any Edu Mithra programme are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
• In the event of a cancellation by Edu Mithra, the registration will be adjusted toward an upcoming programme of similar value.
• No service charges or registration fees will be refunded under any circumstance.

10. Refund Policy (Online Payments)

Refunds are applicable only in cases of:

• Multiple debits due to technical errors
• Excess payment due to system malfunction

To request a refund, users must email info@edumithra.com with:

• Proof of payment
• Transaction ID
• Contact details
• Bank account information

Refunds will be processed within 15–30 business days, and will be credited to the original mode of payment.

11. Hyperlinks

This website may link to third-party sites. Edu Mithra is not responsible for the privacy practices, accuracy, or content of those sites. Use of external links is at the user’s own risk.

12. Consent to Data Processing

The ISO Reference Book is provided as a digital eBook only. No physical copies will be shipped. Address details collected during registration are used only for billing and record purposes, not for delivery or shipping.

Participation in ISO implies full acceptance of these terms. Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to interpret, modify, or update these policies at any time. Continued use of the site after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
