International Space Olympiad
International Space Olympiad is an international quiz competition on Space Science and Technology for students in grades 5–12 and is organized by Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd. every year with a mission to attract and encourage talents in the fields of space science and technology and enhance the aptitude of children in space science and technology. International Space Olympiad is designed to examine the in-depth knowledge of students in various fields related to space science and technology and honor their genuine talents with amazing prizes and laurels.

International Space Olympiad is a door to the world of limitless knowledge about space and space explorations for students from grades 5 to 12, and to encourage young, talented minds with amazing prizes who excel in the Olympiad in different programs, including workshops, quizzes, and many other informative and innovative sessions handled by eminent personalities in the field of space science. It’s much about inspiring the young aspirants to dream bigger and to channel their interests in space science into the right track where they really belong.

Eligibility
Students studying in Grades 5-12 all over the world can participate in International Space Olympiad. Students are sub divided into three different categories and each category will have separate competition and so are the Prizes.
The Categories are:
Category 1: ISO Juniors
The students studying in grades 5-7 fall under this category.
Category 2: ISO Seniors
The students studying in grades 8-10 belong to this category.
Category 3: ISO Super Seniors
The students studying in grades 11-12 are included in this category.
Each category has separate competitions and prizes.
How to Participate?
To participate in the International Space Olympiad, all candidates must register their names online for the competition through the official website of the International Space Olympiad.

Competition Structure
International Space Olympiad 2024 is designed to have three rounds of competition.
In each exam candidate will answer 30 questions in 10 minutes of time. Candidates who qualify in the first round is eligible for the next round. The title prize winner of International Space Olympiad is the Topper of ISO Final Level Examination.

International Space Olympiad : About the Competition
All phases of the International Space Olympiad will be entirely online, making it more convenient for everyone. Allowing candidates to partake in the competition from their schools or homes, through devices like mobile, laptop etc.
ABOUT ONLINE EXAM
- The International Space Olympiad (ISO), Online exam consists of three rounds, with candidates has to qualify in each round to progress to the next stage. This exam is entirely online and can be taken from anywhere using a computer, laptop, or smartphone with an internet connection, following the provided instructions.
Here are some important instructions :
- Each candidate will be assigned a specific time slot for examination, which will be published on the website 3 days prior to the date of examination and they must be present at that moment. Failure to appear in the allotted time slot will result in cancellation of their candidature and NO refund will be initiated.
- You will have 10 minutes to complete all 30 multiple-choice questions on the syllabus that will be asked of you in the test.
- For each correct answer, you will receive 1 mark, and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.
- The online exam has no user ID or password. Instead, the examiner will contact candidates at their registered phone number to guide them and provide the online login details at the time of the exam.
- Candidates must have a web camera (or a device with an inbuilt camera) and earphones for the exam.
- The online exam is secure and closely monitored, with live video and audio capture to prevent any malpractice.
