IMPORTANT
The PRELIMINARY LEVEL ISO EXAM is purely online examination with no fixed location as an exam center and can be attempted from any computer, laptop or Smart phone with access to the internet and adhering to the instructions mentioned below. The date of the examination will be 10th and 11th August 2024.
About Online ISO Exam
International Space Olympiad (ISO) Online exam has three rounds. The candidates
The International Space Olympiad (ISO) Online Exam consists of three rounds. Candidates must qualify at each level to progress to the next round of ISO. Please read the following instructions carefully before attending the online examination.
- Candidates can attend the online examination from their home using personal computers with a WEB CAM (or Laptop/Smartphone with an inbuilt cam). Earphones are mandatory for the exam.
- Please ensure you have the ZOOM (https://zoom.us/download) application installed on your device, as it will be used to conduct the exam.
- The online examination is highly secure against malpractices. Measures are taken to completely eliminate foul play through live video and audio capture of the candidates attending the exam.
- If any malpractice is detected during the examination, the candidate's results will be withheld. This includes any form of cheating, using unauthorized resources, or attempting to manipulate the examination system. Edu Mithra reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate actions, which may include disqualification from the competition. Candidates are expected to adhere to the highest standards of honesty and integrity throughout the examination process.
- During the examination, you will be asked 30 multiple-choice questions based on the syllabus, and you will have 10 minutes to answer all of them.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Each candidate will be allotted a TIME SLOT to attend the online examination. Candidates must attend the examination in the allotted slot without fail. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
- The detailed time slot allocation list is published on the ISO website.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: THERE IS NO USER ID AND PASSWORD TO ATTEND THE ONLINE EXAMINATION. Instead, candidates will be contacted by the examiner at the allocated time on the registered phone number and will be guided in attending the examination properly. The examiner will provide a ZOOM meeting ID and password at the time of the exam.
Candidates are not supposed to contact the numbers allotted before or after the allotted time slot, and no such activity will be entertained or appreciated.

Important Notice Regarding Candidature for the International Space Olympiad Examination
Your candidature for the International Space Olympiad Examination is strictly provisional. At any point during the examination process, if it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria or has provided false information, their candidature will be immediately forfeited.
Furthermore, any candidate found engaging in malpractice or receiving unauthorized assistance during the examination will be immediately disqualified and barred from participating in the International Space Olympiad.
